I'm just letting people like you know that the times when they could talk shit about my "slow" car are nearing an end.

Although im glad you want to boost your car I do believe it's a little premature to talk about something that's a year from now. Who makes pistons for your car? Are you going to use swaintech on them? What kinda injectors will you have to use? Are there cams for your car, if so who makes them and in what lift/duration? I saw you mention turbos but what trim will you think about running? How reliable will your stock diff be? What kinda clutch will you be using? Will you be installing all this yourself? Are you going to be making a custom turbo header?

I assume you have the answers to all these questions since you brought this stuff up. And I want to keep your thread on topic so for my knowledge can you answer?

thanks

well I have had nothing but problems with AA. We just changed the engine management on my car to a stand alone TEC3 so that we don't have to deal with AA anymore. Plus if you guys were at the drifting contest at Summit Point about a month ago the part that broke on my suspension was also an AA part.

How was the Tec 3 install with the plug and play and have you had any problems with it since you tuned it? (I haven't talked to anyone who actually installed a Tec 3 with the plug and play from Sias, kinda curious how it went.)

I know 2 people with Tec3's and they are a bitch to tune. I don't know if BMW is MAP or MAF but turbo nissans require a lot tuning. I hear the tec2's are actually better than the new ones.

well it was pretty easy because I had the owner of SIAS Vic fly over from San Francisco to tune the car. Car runs great now no problems at all. I wish I had done this from the beginning.

Here is a thread with the pictures and info on the install.

I remember that. So most of the issues were software? I guess your install was a little unusual, I plan on getting the software from Nick G or one of the other...two people who actually know how to do it. Was he the guy who programmed your car at aa?
Beyond the software, it looks like the rest of the kit will be custom, ATP needs to get their shit together and I don't see it happening any time soon. I'll probably go with a GT30R
