http://www.underground-motorsports.com This shop did this exact thing, even kept the twin turbos. I know they used some Mckinney parts, but e-mail them if you have questions, the might be able to help you out.
bleh you made me become discouraged :P. altho there is a 85 rx7 for 950 im lookin at, i know you could get a 13b in the last year ( which it is ) bu this has a 12a. how difficult would a 13b turbo swap be ?? jspec auto sells a 13b turbo with 5-Speed RWD Transmission, ECU, Intercooler, Complete Wiring(Un-Cut) . as far as I know thats all i'd need... just lookin for some thin fun to do
hell tho it just sounds so fuckin cool. awd skyline power... and yea the sr20s provide more then enough grunt for jst about anything ( T's or n/a ) just the thought came to me while i was lookin at engines and i was... hopeful :P thanks tho guys. damnit
click on rb into 240 article it should be the second one down
i talked to mckinney and they quoted me $8500 for all the parts id need for the swap, like engine, ecu, harness, crossmembers, downpipe and like a hundred other things you need to do the swap properly.
edit:
eh my bust the difference in weight is like 180 pounds which can be offset by relocating the battery, doing a silvia converion on s13, and getting a lighter hood. alot of that weight is in the beefier tranny which is located towards the middle of the car anyway, well read the article it can explain things better than i can.

a battery and hood is not going to make up 180 lbs. the motor, even though it might sit closer to the firewall, is longer. so more weight will be in front of the front wheels as well. sorry bro, it's still gonna be front-heavy.
