i wouldnt recomend tryign to instal one yourself though..but like 7th sign said before b and t instals them...a few people have them on here and had b and t instal them

 

Woulden't be that hard. Just take it to a muffler shop have them weld it to ur test pipes ooops i mean right before the cat and then run the wires cant be to hard to run a few wires.

Millenium can do one up for you. If you catch it on a bump or you hold the switch too long,(burn the motor) it's $40 shipped to get it fixed.

...? are you saying the motors burn up because of use or from people trying to weld the pipe? from what ive heard, they are quite reliable pieces of equipment. and if you mean they burn from being welded then whoever has acheived that is truely an idiot. not only is the motor nowhere close to the welding point but the whole assembly comes off of the y-pipe they include so you just pull it off when you weld anyways. what exactly are you trying to say?

 

see the last post, sounds more like user error that burns the motors up, not the installation. i want one of these but they seem quite pricey

 

no its not fromt he welding...marno who uses this forum can go more into detial cause his motor burned up but on ebay brand ones nd such and sometimes the same brand that jason is talkign about water gets into the motor and it wont work and will be come defective

 

yeah, i noticed that, but not all cut-outs are made so you you hold down the switch to open/close it to your liking. some just have a switch that is on/off. you flip it on and it opens fully, and then you flip it off and it closes all the way. no halfway-in-the-middle bullshit so that retards can break them. why would anyone want a cut-out that opens halfway anyways? if you like the sound then buy a muffler. the whole point of a cutout is to run without any restriction for full performance, at least thats why i would use one. maybe some people have other intentions, pointless in nature, but other intentions nonetheless.

oh nah, im not saying i prefer catback. i have a cutout for my car right now - i just havent put it on because im not done fabricating the rest of my piping. i always thought about how to make one back when i was first into madofing cars because im the kind of person that likes sleepers. imagine... driving around all day with your stock exhaust system and recirc. valve - run into some punk that thinks he is king of the road - flip the switch, and commence raping him in the ass while he is dumbfounded as to why this quiet ass car suddenly made him create a cushion of shit in his pants
