Dude... steal your dads car (but make it look like you didn't do it of course) then sell it and build you car.... that's the easiest option.

That would seem to be the most logical approach

I am only 18, I do not need a beast car like this. Something simple and reliable as my car for years to come, to take up to school and not have to worry about breaking on the way up. Ya, an EVO is not the most reliable thing, but hey one with an exhaust and some management will be more than enough for me. If I were to get a new motor, I would no doubt have to sell the suspension to help pay, then I have a car taht wont be as much fun anymore. Its fun to go fast, but I dont want to sacrifice everythnig that makes the car what I like for it. Ya, the blocks can be had for cheap, but try finding cheap labor for it. If anyone is up for doing it for free, be my guest!!
Do it yourself. You will learn alot about your engine.

take your time and you won't fuck it up.

i don't know you, but i'll still put in my vote for you to keep it. you'll regret it later if you sell it.

and if you buy an evo you're just going to start modding it as soon as you come into a little money and you'll be in the same boat again before you know it. broken cars aren't going to go away, modding is a terminal disease.

take ur time on the block install and take it easy on the car... it'll last you and you'll love it

go find an old toyota pick up truck...that thing will last forever. Now that you have a dialy driver just take your time with the WRX. Get it up and running again and than make your decision from there. You've invested so much time/money into the car to let it go now.

I guess EVERYONE on ls1tech that has them are wrong and they are shitty.

Go to ls1sounds.com and look at how many people have Pacesetter LT's. I guess they're all wrong too. The 2nd generation Pacesetter design is far better than the 1st generation or anything they've ever produced for imports.

They were also $400 shipped to my front door. Coated as well.

LT's are LT's. I'm not paying for a brand name as long as they're LT's and coated that's all I'm worried about. Trust me I researched them and EVERY single person that has purchased the 2nd generation design have been very pleased with quality and fitment. Hell Kienan @ All Aspects who has a very respectable WRX and Foxbody said he's very impressed with the quality because he just installed a set on an 02 WS6. We'll see how shitty they are.

Haha, this is all very true. Right now I am leaning towards keeping the car. Ill prob have to liquidate the suspension in order to get some funds for a motor, but oh well, I can always get that later. If I am going to do it though, Im gonna do it right, no half assing, so it may be down for a while. But I am sure it will be worth it though.
