i might be going to the TPM one on the 11th, but i havent made up my mind yet.

but i will definetly hit the cornerspeed trackday on the 21st of March.

Going down to Florida at the end of this month for the Ed Bargy school so I can get my race license and make the first race for points at VIR in March!!!!!

 

how come your going all the way down to florida to get your license?

you can get it from TPM, Cornerspeed, WERA

Keith Code is also coming to VIR this year, but I think the earliest is in May

 

his school is pretty affordable looks like, by the time you pay for the trip down there it would probably cost alot more than doing Cornerspeed in Virginia but it would be a cool experience to go ride a different track... I believe STT's beginner class also gets you a provisional race license but when i took that everyone else in it seemed to be literally be learning how to ride that day, so it was kind of dangerous for both of us i thought to have that large of a difference in speed

 

i think WERA school is like $60 + $100 for the license, or something like that.

 

If I take another course I won't be able to to do the race in March for points at VIR................there is no other way for me to be able to make that first race.

The course I'm taking is 300 bucks normally; but they give a pretty good military discount; and the school is muuuuuuuuch better (from what I've heard) than some of the others out there.

 

I had actually never heard of it, and Aaron's school is pretty well credited, but from what I hear they are all great, except Learning Curves, never heard anything good about that school/class... but I think like always said you can take usually take the class the day before the race if all you want to do is get your license in time

 

Not this time. I will miss the first race if I take their class for the license.............same day.

We're doing the track day with TPM on Friday, then racing with WERA on Saturday and Sunday. I would have to miss the race on Saturday to get my license................unless I go to Florida the end of this month....

 

I see... atleast it makes a good excuse to take a vacation and ride a different track
