When risks are taken consequences must be considered. These two young men took the risks and the consequences were severe. Its unfortunate that they died however it was a risk they willingly took. Perhaps, some of us on the board will learn from their mistakes.

 

So let me get this straight.. the two people who died, did so by going 120 on wet roads in a car they shouldn't have been driving in the first place?

 

You're right... I'm not gonna make anymore comments on it after this. It was a stupid act and they paid the ultimate price. I don't feel bad for them though... but the families, that's different. They didn't screw up. They are the innocents in this situation.

Being around cars you come across several situations where people die. Most of the time it's from ignorance, but sometimes it isn't. People... the families and friends excluded... almost always try to glorify the death instead of seeing it for what it really is. Like... "let's forget how it happened and just mourn him solely because he is dead." I just don't like that mentality. Feel bad they are gone... send your condolences to the family... whatever you feel you need to do... but please please don't forget why they are dead.

i knew one of them, havent talked to him in a while but i was friends with him when i was younger. his dad helped us move into our new house.

the one i knew was brock powell, i havent heard the name of the other kid. my mom woke me up this morning to tell me... that allways happens. if you have bad news to tell someone, unless it is imparative that they get up then, let them sleep. my mom had my sister wake me up early to tell me that my mom and dad were getting divorced. its just not cool.
