I went through that same thought process this morning. I then realized that she's a chick from the suburbs who got mixed in with some less than stellar people, like many of the girls I grew up with. They were a lot of fun, but had no future and I wished them well as I grew older. The difference between them and the girl in the video is that she is taking having fun as a kid to a very high level. Her lyrics aren't great, however it's a great beat and she has a great look, making it fun to watch.

Accepting that she's not as hardcore as she pretends to be allows me to not rage when I watch her. She's not going to be cute for much longer, so it makes sense to enjoy her now.

Yet another reason why LA needs to sink in the ocean.

 

So that hundreds of miles away the Bay Area can be completely safe?

 

I'm not sure why, but my hatred for LA is FAR greater....but it would be nice if Arizona Bay became reality.

 

I just meant how is an artist from and being taped in Oakland a reason for LA to sink into the ocean?
