Damn Woo.. gets me every time

 

Dipped the Miata last weekend. The previous owner did a HORRIBLE job painting the car....heavy runs and orange peel everywhere. I couldnt stand it anymore, so we sanded it all down and dipped it using color pigments for the first time. It turned out great!!











Im very pleased with the over all results of the dip....but in hind sight i REALLY wish i would have spent more time on the body before dipping it. It still has some rough spots throughout the whole body, but oh well...its supposed to be the daily beater anyways.

 

 

looks damn good. Is that some sort of purple or midnight blue?

 

Its a Dark purple. Deep purple candy pearl with black tint to be exact.

 

any glossifier or metalizer?

 

The Deep purple candy pearl pigment was mixed into a gallon of glossifier and sprayed over a black base.
