Going to keep this one mostly stock as it's my daily. Maybe wheels and a few other cosmetic things, but I'm not going crazy with the suspension. The stock suspension is a good balance of comfort and handling for a daily driver.
Keep an eye on the cooling system. If the water pump hasn't been replaced recently it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and do that.
Yeah I'll be doing the cooling system and suspension preventative maintenance on pieces that need it. I actually tore a rear shock mount on the first day I owned it so I was welcomed into BMW ownership properly.
I need to go through the last 9 years worth of maintenance records the previous owner gave me and make a list of what has been replaced and when.
For real though if you ever decide to modify it I'm setting my car back to basically stock so I may have an E36 liquidation sale in the works. I've got some "Motorsport" door handles, new M3 spindles, and ZKW headlights that I'll be moving for sure and more possibly to come. You're just a hop, skip, and a jump away. /shameless plug
