thats how we fixed Dexter ruckus

 

Dude(s), I think my Ruckus is trolling me. Every time I fix something, something else breaks. I re-tapped the exhaust bracket holes and the bracket on the PCV breaks...... while riding down the street. Which means I had to ride back to the house holding it in one hand above the carb. I zip tied to top of carb temporarily. (haters gonna hate)

So today I removed the needle shim just see what would happen... it ran horrible, lots of misfires and stuttering.

Re-jetted from 38/78 to 38/80 and around +1 on the fuel screw.
Ran really well... but it's still not as smooth as I think it can be.

I'm gonna try 35/82/shim and 38/82/no shim later this week just for fun.

It runs perfectly acceptable now, I just like playing with it.

 

re-installed the shim... to lean in the mid-range. haven't test rode it yet... too many white russians and too damn cold out...

hey guys im not sure if this is the place or not but i figured it would be better to post here.. ive got a full running 2005 gy6 150 donor bike and some swap parts that im prob going to sell. my build plans for the winter might be changing soon. id rather see the stuff go local as apposed to shipping it out.
