Yes, but they have insurance, altho I know they could fuck me if they wanted, but like I say, they are very close friends and they would take care of any damage they are responsible for.

That is false. Insurance follows the vehicles. I.E.:
You let a friend ride your bike. Your friend wrecks it. Your insurance takes of any damages first (primary coverage) and if they have insurance and there is more damage than yours covered, there's kicks in second. Now, if you don't have collision on your bike, you can sue your friend for damages to the bike. Also, expect your insurance to go up because it's a lending loss and that is not good.
