Real vs. Fake
This is what I don't get about the "real wheel" thing, and what I hated about the honda/acura scene a few years ago. If you're driving a car worth less than say $50K, sticking expensive rims on it doesn't make it an exotic or make you look "not poor". If you're building a show or track only car with high end parts, great. You get what you pay for. 90% of the cars on these forums are daily driven on regular roads, and a $5K or $10K set of rims doesn't make much difference - especially when you consider most of these cars are financed and the rims are bought with credit cards by people who rarely if ever have that much cash.
