Local S2000/Ferrari F40 owners dicsussion thread
There's a vendor on s2ki selling TC105N's in 17x9 +35 with free federal tires for basically the cost of the wheels normally. I almost want to do it and just ride on the junk tires until next year so I can have the wheels I really want.
They're federal 595's or something. As long as they have tread they'll be ok on the street. I'm on Yoko S Drives now, and they're alright for normal driving unless you let them go bald in the rear. Then the rear of the car twerks in the rain.
I got some SA90. 17x9. +35.
So on the Skunk2 springs and 255/40/17 all around. The 255s in the front is too much. I'ma order a 235/40/17.
In the front, with just springs; it's probably rubbing the inner fender liner something fierce. Stock height 255's will fit with the right offset wheels, +35 and that much tire on a S2000, it's going to need work to fit.
Just a tad bit too big.
I could easily pull the fenders to get it to swallow as I roll/pull fenders all the time. BUT in my opinion its trying to hard. I'm a firm believer in squeezing the biggest size under the car with stock metal.

Same here, not one for non-functionality in my car. Yeah you could make it fit, but its not going to turn/drive worth a fuck; and at the end of the day, that is blasphemous to a s2000.
So I think the clutch "issues" I might be having in my car are being caused by the clutch master cyl. Pedal only engages right near the top, even after adjusting, and while I was down there adjusting I noticed the dirt/grease/fluid on the master cyl shaft, and the fluid in the reservoir ws dirty as shit. I'm gonna try to replace my fluid and see if that helps out any.
