Re: How much torque is too much?- Project LSX-7
Figure I would finish this thread up with the remainder of the project
The engine bay was completely cleaned out and subframe removed for modification at Hinson
Engine going into the car
All its glory
Finishing the button up of the engine bay
First day home
Off to get dyno tuned
Trying to do the spring mod for the stock PS pump ended up being too much of a pain. I ended up swapping out to a KRC race pump that had adjustable outlet valves which felt amazing
Finished shot of the fuel setup with the relocated filter going to the FPR and then the rail.
Finalized exhaust. Hinson headers to a y-pipe, cat, and then dual tip exhaust
I decided to clean up the engine bay a little bit. I got Vette head covers and did a little FRP work to create a little better radiator cover.
Other random pictures while I had her
Formula D in NJ
AutoX @ Giant's Stadium - NJ
Track Day in PA
I ended up selling her a couple years ago as I moved into NYC and there was no place to drive it that wouldnt give you a spinal injury.

Probably going to find a new project car in the next year or so. The bug has me again.
