Body Lifts, Pros & Cons
#51
I have a 98 Durango with a 3in performance accessories body lift and its been great. It came with everything u could think of and was 311 bucks. Its only been on for around 6 months but I don't see anything that's going to fail. I would highly recommended performance accessories lifts

Back to the tread, the disadvantage to a body lift is the the increased torque on the frame and body. What that means is that when you are in a frame twister condition you are more likely to do damage (bending the frame, and/or body).
So if you are a serious wheeler, it increased the potential to do serious damage to the vehicle in extreme conditions.

I agree, but I am going for more looks that Hardcore offroading.
I have also heard mixed things about the bolts and seperation if you were to get in an accident. You need to use stronger bolts and not over torque them and it will help with the issue. But that is all hear say and that is why I am asking for opinions.
Appriciate your input Joey.
