I just came from there, dropped off my DJ gear set up and left to come back to work. Not alot of cars overall......and more importantly, not alot of cars that people from this board would like. (bodykits, tvs, etc.)

Most of the "clean" cars there you've seen already in the Eye Candy section.

 

That pretty much makes my decision for me...

Absolutely. I don't mean to discourage anyone here from going. I just don't want to read the subsequent gripes/post from anyone about how all they saw was bodykits, neons,non-functional stuff, yadayadayada. As if a car show is supposed to be filled with a legion of clone cars with the same neutral paint jobs,front lips, swaps, and little 14 inch racing rims that have become the "in" thing now.

 

bah. neutral nothing. my cars phoenix yellow. i dont have a swap, i do have a front lip (and i want to get *gasp* side skirts and rear valence to clear up the bottom line..). i dont have 14's, but i do have 15's. i used to have some 17's on the LS/turbslo, but drag radials are so much cheaper for 15's. and they wear out quickly. car shows = good for looking at hot girls most will never touch (let alone fuck..) and saying "holy fuck, just when i thought id seen all the possible places to mount tv's in a car..."

 

im going around 6 just to see my friends perform and support them.

 

Oh. Duuuhde, I thought they were about 350hp?
Anyway....yeah there were a lot of chix/models there (and still arriving) when I was there at 2pm.

 

i went last year... biggest waste of money EVER shit sucked... there was like 100 cars thats it.. i mean its something different to do but.. man it sure was a waste... I'd rather look at the cars in the parking lot...
