Because I went through clutches like water, and the transmission went on me @ 65,000 with moderate track use. Just wanted something that didn't break as much/cost less to maintain/repair. No doubt it was a fun car...but I'm quite happy with the neon

True. Well, although I didn't care much about speed, I ran a 15.77 @89 mph in my stock 3g. Not bad for a 3600 pd slush box.
