lol, back on topic, Congrats on finding the bike man, glad you didn't lose all that money, make sure u get insurance and lock it up! and also LOL at leaving a digital camera, ur title, and dam expensive sunglasses in the trunk of your bike....thats like getting the portable safe..."now robbers can steal the whole safe and crack it open in the comfort of their own home " (heard somethin like that in a standup, thought it was funny, so decided i would share.)

waitwaitwait, I thought you were crying cause you lost $8k when the bike was stolen, and they took your camera and title? Do you have a frickin loan on it or is it paid off?

 

i said they took the registration not the title but yeah does anyone know where i can get a new ignition set pretty cheap?? i tried caseys but they dont have it in stock and it is too expensive ( i get cost on all parts and they are charging me 260 for all the locks) just wondering does anyone have a wrecked bike that i can get the ignition to

i wasnt actually the one who found it but i went out lookin for it that night and also had a couple friends looking for it but the bike was spotted on jefferson ave. at about 1am in the morning so we headed that way and never found it

i started to give up at around 3am and went to a party to drink it all behind me and call it a loss and at about 4:30am the newport news police called me and told me i could pick my bike up at the gas staion on jefferson ave. because they found my bike INSIDE the guys apartment and they gave some bs reason of how they got the bike and the reason they didnt have the title or keys to it but they had a ford van with tie downs and a ramp in it so they arrested three guys and called me. the detective is going to call me thurs to give me details.

 

damn sounds like the thieves that I saw get caught on Hampton Roads Center Parkway. 3 guys with a Uhaul van that had a bike tied down in back. I've seen other suspicious stuff like a truck with 4 guys in it with a bike tied down in back that was being transported at 4 am. The fact that they found it is crazy

 

yea i deffinately got lucky as hell because they actually found it in the guys living room

still need a new ignition though kinda want it today and dont want to wait to order it but i guess i have to but there has to be someone out there that totaled their 600 750 1000 03-05 bike someone help me out and get me some keys
