your explaination kinda makes sense...but for a 13 sec car to run 17's....your 60 would have to be a 4.x or something outrageous... and if you run 17s, you shouldnt be on the track anyway
a turbo charged Type S with better than stock tires should run 13's period.

Not at all, with a 2.6 60' and lots of tire spin, over revs or mis shifts it is very possible, I know alot people say running from a roll doesn't require alot of skill, but if you cannot shift quickly within your power band you will lose a massive amount of time. For instance, the KA24DE was capable to run up to 7k, without any work to the motor it would be silly to take i past 6k even though it is not governed.

In no way was I insulting her driving. But goin from a 180whp or so car, to a 280+ can make you have to relearn. Like I said she beat me back in the day, given I was on winter tires and we both had 14.9 slips at the track, which is better than average for a Type-S with every day drivers and IIRC she only had a short ram.
