That is someone who converted the GTO back over to the original Monaro.. I would love to do that conversion if it didn't cost around 4k for everything..

well for starters, you are comparing your car to mine. i paid 7600 for my car, you paid 30. your car comes stock with twice the power mine does. i still make alot less power than you, and when i ran a 13.7 my car was making about 275 rwhp on a worn out 135K stock motor. not only that, but my driving wasnt on point either. i'd just got home from deployment and hadnt raced my car with my new suspension. i made slight improvements on my times in 4 runs that day, but my driving just wasn't there. some more practice and i'm sure i'd have ran a few tenths quicker.
my car now has more goodies, and when i get back to the track after my bullitt manifold goes in about 50 more hp than my last track visit. it'll just be a matter of how well i can drive the car.
you on the other hand, don't make improvements. you just keep doing the same thing over and over again, thinking you will magically get faster. just like your old mustang.
No, see you're trying to compare me to Ashwin's and yourself. You have a ton of mods on that car. The financed amount has nothing to do with it. If you didn't buy a truck you could just as well have a $30k car to start out with modding.
My Mustang was a waste of time. Not enough motor to do anything with it. Unless you boost a Mustang, for the most part you're going to be hardpressed to even break out of the 13's. Boost doesn't do it for me, sure it's fast as fuck, but I prefer N/A. A lot less complications that way. Not to mention my Mustang might as well been yellow, because that bitch was a lemon.
I bought the GTO because it's faster, different, and a ton nicer than my Mustang was. So far, I'm in love with it.
As far as your car goes, yes I know with the bullitt manifold you will be at 330ish whp. And that is all fine and dandy, but like you said, you're going to need practice launching the car.
Don't try to come on here starting shit with me when you also have a car with power that should be running 12's and you're still in the high 13's.
