That was redbricks(mike's) car. 1980 242 with b23ft running 12psi on pump gas. Impressed quite a few non believers. Numbers were 175.4 hp, 228ft lbs. And that was before they fixed the brake problem. The F150 was running 19psi on the blower and it sounded bad ass. Something like 450hp I think Later, Jon

 

I'm not sure what the Lightning was running on the SC, but he put down 486hp with the dyno brake part way on. and he's planning on going to a kenne bell sc in the near future. that thing will be str8 beast!

 

You sure that was hp.....not Tq?

 

pretty sure i was there for all 4 dyno runs

 

We put the lighting back on the dyno and it lost power so it there was really no loss in hp reading. Sorry if you felt that the break was a problem but it was just a rain rust problem that kept the arm from swinging 6 inches from the drum. thanks shad
the lighting was 1st run 372hp 486tq last 368hp 480tq

Yeah, Eaton/Roots blowers make gobs of TQ, right J.?

 

Had fun at DYNO . Cant wait till this fall to see if I can win the most rear wheel horse power again.


1 time was 470 HP @486 TQ at 10:15 am 1st one on dyno

2 time which was 6 hrs later was 475 HP @481 TQ

 

3Z 275 HP 274 TQ
