I have a KX125 I talked to you about a while ago and I still need it fixed. Something in the powervalve area came loose and I dont feel like messing with it. When is a good time to drop the bike off? Probably after 5 is better for me. I still need to get a chain, sprockets, fork seals and air filter and have you install it. I plan to order online unless you have another option. Thanks man,
Justin

ordering online is usually the cheapest way. what exactly happened to make you think the powervalve came loose? usually when something comes loose with the valve, it destroys the piston, cylinder, and the valve, if the valve ends up going too far into the cylinder, which it usually does.

as far as dropping it off, any time is ok by me, just give me call for a heads up to know when you'll be here, and i'll make sure i'm home.

Theres a cover behind the pipe that when removed, it exposes a little metal rod that connects to a lever thing. The screw that holds it together is gone and I was told thats the power valve adjustment or something. The bike would run its ass of then just instantly die, no sputtering or slowing down, etc. Ill load it up and drop it off as soon as I order the parts then, thanks man.

werd. i don't know if i'm gonna be out friday or not, i have a bunch of stuff i have to do saturday morning, early, before i head out to ozzfest. we shall see though. it's looking like most every second i have for the next few days is going to be spent getting lutex's motor back together, then as soon as i'm done with that i'll have the parts back for the xr, so that'll keep me busy for most of another day.

but... there's always room for more, so if anyone needs anything, like always, just let me know.

and thanks guys, for the kind words, always appreciated.

Got time to tackle an intermittent problem? Bike runs great then a few miles into a ride loses power. Bike changes tone (sounds lazy) and will barely hold 55 mph at full throttle, then it'll kick back in full power for a few minutes and then go back out. Annoying as hell. Feels to me like it's either losing a coil or fuel flow...but I ain't the master bike tech. Think it might be vacuum related...not sure how to check that though. Stupid Suzuki vacuum petcock. Hate that freaking thing.
