Does it really matter whether it's a GM or Ford engine? They're both two different ways of accomplishing the same thing. Can't go wrong with either. We should all be bi like Phil and swing both ways.
Ha ha ha ha Got to love Slinky and Steve's comments
I respect Transam/Camaros but they get the award for the biggest dash of the century, a man bigger than 6'2" has trouble fitting comfortably in one. I'm 6'7" and when I ride in one it is the worst experience, im so uncomfortable. I fit perfect in a Mustang.

well GD stretch!
anything smaller than a friggin rav 4 and you've got problems.
I just finished dropping in an LS1(422ci stroked) piece in my 95 Mustang.
wierd thing is that my UPR k-member worked perfect, no plate needed. and
94-95 headers were a dead fit as well with adapter plates. Can't wait til March.
Most people either make custom headers or cut the flanges off of mustang long tubes and weld on Ls1 flanges to make things work...where did you find adapter plates? That would be most swell like. I've been contemplating a lot of swaps for awhile now....at the top would be an Ls1 6-speed into a fox coupe or SN-95 coupe...I think that would be fun and reliable since it would be so light...maybe add a little spray too.
