However the "do it all" approach doesn't always work... you can get spread to thin.
thanks man!i agree about spreading too thin.id rather do a good job at one or two things than doing 6 things half assed.we do paint/suspension.

i would love to one day get a large building and have all these things under the same roof .seperate owners/managers taking care of their work making their money, while splitting the rent/mortgage. one day!!!!!

All depending on what I needed done.

Motor build=shop
Motor swap=myself

I prefer to get all of my parts from a local shop. A local shop i trust. When tuners edge was open I only came in a few times and they knew my name made me feel good!! I dont mind spending a little extra for something I need. If i order something off the internet it may take a week to get here. If i was to go to a local shop it would be here either late that day or early in the morning. But all depending on what you ordered.

Edit
Also when tuners edge was open it took me 30 mins to get there and it takes me 30 mins to get to millenium. I dont mind to travel. So i would say on the penninsula in hampton would be more convenient. But i dont care.

No because biz wise there is not enough interest around this area anymore, the market has cooled down. It would be nice to have a all around good shop but to make money it would not be wise i think. Plus no shop is ever worth it for retail b/c online always kills it and the only way you can compete is to price match.. which will make you no money! I think biz wise a good quality bike shop is the way to go, the demand is always there and the shops are always full and two weeks behind. Even shitty shops... Just IMO

Another problem is that people always open their shops with friends and family, which never work out. There are to many "hook ups" and "after hours work" Family and biz don't mix. like two dicks and no chicks, find yourself in some serious shit. LOL it fit...

Really? Well damn, I really did not know bikes were that high in demand. There are a few shops around and they always seem to be backed up as well as far as bikes, but I will see whats up with bikes.

Thanks for the input.
