well let's just say for you all who don't know we are not really a team were more family then anything. Our goal is to stay together forever you know how you see the guy's with the old muscle car club's. well that's what I'm looking at and even though we do have some younger member's maybe they can take over one day and pass it on to there kid's. oh yeh i hit a 13.99 at 104 with goodyear's 60ft was a 2.2. and the last time I checked my top speed it was 163mph!!! i run the 1/4 mile with three gears third top's out at about 116. Just a little secret to let you in on!! I BRAZILL!!!

 

I saw that at the track last weekend.. congrats I was impressed...

 

So you know caris... that's cool. His Eclipse is sweet, I'm curious to see what he runs on race gas with high boost since his 4-wheel dyno. And yes that plate got my attention! 13's will take out many Mustangs, but ls1s would be a very very tough mach. Nice car.

 

its nothing against you or your car. i ran a Z06 a few weeks after the blower went on (first real run since forced induction) and we went from a 35 roll and he couldnt pull from me up till 115 when we shut down. so if yalls car weighs more than ours then i have somewhat decent idea what kinda power im making. i didnt get a chance to talk to the guy, but id really like to know if he had the 385 hp Z06 or the 405 hp one. his plates said "GREGGY". he was more excited about it than i was, gave me thumbs up and yelled i was the fastest stang hes ran yet. good sport.

 

If you have a blown GT your car weighs about 3400 lbs. So I'd have you beat by roughly 300 lbs... but that is worth about 30 horsepower. I'm sure your car is making at least 360-380 fwhp... if you have an intercooler then more. So it'd be a good race. The 405 hp versions aren't noticeably faster than the 385 versions because the power comes at very high rpms

 

hmmm 360 flywheel hp? you mean rwhp. most supercharged gts make around 350 @ the wheels. you know chevy has been "misleading" people with their hp #'s. LS1's that are supposed to make 310 @ the flywheel are making that and more at the tires. so it wouldnt suprise me if a 385 "flywheel" hp Z06 made that much @ the tires. chevys always underrated their power ratings. they did it in the 60s theyre doing it now. hopefully ill get my car dynoed next month and then ill know for sure, cause i dont like to bench race hp #s without proof.
