the guy at ames said on the news that he didnt mind us being there as long as we keep the parking lot clean and dont do any thing stupid i like the idea of doing a event to raise money for the people hurt let me know if yall need any help i will give all of it that i can

I like the idea of a fundraiser, too. But, IMO, we need to do it fairly quickly...like this Saturday, that way it's still fresh in the public's mind. And you know that at least one news organization will be out this weekend, but we could call them in advance just to make sure.

Why not just have parking divided? sections for every scene or what ever you want to call it. doesn't even have to be in the same parking lot ether. if your into performance then hell you know where to go. if you into audio then you know where to go. and if your just a dumb ass have a place for the clueless to go too. that way you can divide it up a little and segment the "import scene" cops will get a jist of whos the trouble makers and whos not. Thats the way it is in foreign countrys.....

 

dude how bout ya'll block off every other parking lane at ames with orange cones that way it restricts the dumbasses wanting to drag race in front of the ames..........kinda like a snake pattern of traffic lanes u know?

Anyway, we do need someone to step up to the plate and put their foot down. What would be ideal, is getting the rights to put on a "car show" there much like giant square. Cone the place off, and charge a dollar a car to get in, and hand them a rule sheet. If they are found to be in violation of the "rules" then they must leave.

But all this that you guys are talkin about will require more than just one person. For instance if someone has beef with someone, they will bring a group of people, one person can't do anything, there needs to be a selected team that will make sure that everything is safe for everyone else, but there also needs to be someone leading that group, or what you can do, is make everyone sign a paper indicating so no horseplaying, fighting, or racing in the parking lot, sort of like an oath, and if violated suspended or band from the parking lot. By the way what does IMO mean?

 

you could actually just use cones... i personally have about 20 cones at my house....... just dont ask where they came from

 

where did they come from, nah just playin? But seriously how hard is it for some knuckle head to just pick up the cone, and race? Or even knock the cones over, they won't really damage your car.
