get quart 6.5s and a jl 10w6 with a quality amp. dynamat and quality cables. then spend a little time adjusting the settings on everything so you get a nice clean sound.
For subs I would suggest looking at the Pioneer Premier line. Ive got 2 Pioneer Premier 10" woofers in box i made for my bass amp and they sound superb.

Well, I am only running them on 300w, which in my opinion is plenty seeing as how on 100% volume you can hear them from my driveway (amp is on the second floor of my house). But ive been using this seutp for my bass guitar amp for 2 years now and ive experienced nothing negative. If you were to run them off of a really high powered amp they might fail. However on a lower powered amp I think they sound great.
