Well it stopped raining and the 3rd and 4th heats were fast. I ran a 41.3, and Andt Turnbull ran a 40.? in the GS Celica

40.6xx I wish we had all the same conditions... it's no fun when some people have to ford rivers to finish the course.

On the plus side, it was a very fun course... LOTS of on-the-edge dancing...

yeah, i'll say dancing alright. the only time i had the car straight was through the last slalom.....go figure? my best was a 42.5xx. i should have tryed to stay smooth the last run, but i decided to push it hard. that concept almost left me in the weeds.

leolo007, a 47.2 is great for a beginner on that course. after you get the struts, i would recommend getting some r-compound tires and you'll be having yourself a hell of a time. (btw james, he has the red 92-95 civic hatch w/ the gray hood)

I had fun even though I was slow as hell, but it wasn't completely my fault. Hope my times didn't hurt the team too much, damn rain.

It's been a while since I've ran good at an ODR event for some reason so maybe next time I'll get it together and pull some fast times.

Damn that was WET. I managed a 44.6 I think in the monsoon.

Jerry: If you got TEC3, let me know. I can install it (or help). I did a TEC2 a few years back on a turbocharged, fuel injected CBR600F2 motor.

Well, you couldn't "ride" it.. But you could "drive" it. And no, the motor was never put into the chassis. I drove the car with the beater 600 motor we had.. But the turbo fuelie never made it into the chassis for a few reasons. It was designed to go into a different chassis, and didn't fit in the one we had. The new chassis never got finished thanks to the cheap bastards at ODU.
