i believe it's on backwards. generally, tread goes the other way to get water to move to the outside, away from the tire where it hits the road.
i could be wrong, but i think it's backwards.
Nope it isn't. That is something I noticed A LOT when I was at EMC. Not all front tires put the water off in the direction that you would think, I'm assuming because not all tires are meant to be ridden with in the rain. A lot of motorcycle tires will visually appear to be backwards, but in fact will be mounted exactly as meant to when they are made.
In fact, I actually think I pointed that out to you one time.

I will check it tonight afterwork to be 110% sure. Thanks for all the compliments!

you're correct, and i do remember you bringing that up before. i rarely noticed it b/c i don't really look at the tread when i'm putting a tire on, i just look at the directional arrow.

I came in to EMC from years of doing car tires and being in the car game. It's second nature to me to see the directions, even if I'm not looking.

thanks for clearing that up. i was a little confused when i first saw that pic.
No one said you did Wade. The guy was just uninformed and thought it looked backwards, not that it actually was. A lot of car heads will think that, because they are used to seeing tires the same as they are on cars, without ever paying attention to the directional arrows.
