"TEAM" EMPIRE?
Yeah all in all the cruise went well!
That lancer almost got railed by that old ass Chevy Lumina (sp?) at the top of bent mountain when we stopped for Gavin's car.
Also, what was the deal with the lancer that got pulled on the parkway? Was the cop cool or did it ticket the person, and did they get pulled since they were the last one in the group? We saw that when Danny, Gavin, Casey and I were cruising way back behind everyone else...we were wondering why he got pulled and no one else.

While I don't think you NEED any defending.... I'll say that the cruise with you guys was a success. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I saw your group roll up when it was just Heiss M3, myself, and just a few others in the parking lot. I was afraid that your "team" would draw too much attention by just being stupid in the parking lot and on the cruise because thats what usually happens at "team" gatherings. To my surprise, there were absolutely no issues or conflicts. To my knowledge, nobody did anything stupid on the roads and every time we stopped everyone was chill and just hung out. The only problems we had were Gavin's blown turbo and my friend's Cobalt SS's temporary loss of power (that's why we got off at the first rocky mt exit off the parkway!). That just turned out to be a bad sensor that caused the car to shut down!? Warrantied and fixed now though.
I think people "respect" groups or teams for different reasons. A lot of people are asking what kind of cars are on your team.... so having nice cars will gain their respect? Having nice cars is a plus, but to me just having a group of enthusiasts that you can hang out with without any conflicts or BS deserves more respect, which is hard to come by in the tuner community. And if you want to slap a team name sticker on your car, or just call your group something, I don't see why people are on your balls about this?! Good luck on your car show!

Hope you put your car in the show

BTW thanks for the invite to the cruise, next time let me know so we can set-up something.
As far as my ticket goes... Its not a major one. He clocked me at the beginning of my pull. I got a 69 in a 55. I was very honest with the officer and he was very polite and gave me tips on what I should do to get it lifted in court. Take my advice guys... don't do tuning on the highways or race. They really are cracking down on this kinda stuff and they take it very seriously. I made a bad snap decision that I will more than likely pay a hefty little fine for in court.

That wouldn't have helped if he wasn't running radar/laser until he saw her already up to speed. That's happened to me a few times where the old V1 did it's job but not until it was too late.
