Question. Can the fingerprints lifted from my car which was stolen early January of 07 be used against the accused now? If so, I'll patch you thru to my detective so shit can get squared away.

And for what it's worth. I retrieved my wheels back from Rontraius Parker about a week or 2 after my car was stolen. Ironicly enough the fucker got accused of stealing by the police later on?

I seriously wish I had enough evidence back then to get them locked up, they raped my poor car. And you should have seen their piece of shit faces when my car pulled up, making more power than theirs currently on the dyno, a week(or 2) after they raped it. Then they tried to say "we'd run you boys and suck you up".

For the thieves listening. The slowest car out there went low 13s on street tires, that piece of shit lsvtec hatch damn sure wouldn't have done that on street tires.

Also. For you theives. Get a REAL engine builder to build a motor. And I hope my b16 spun a rod bearing.

Thats how it was retrieved. Fuckers.

thad must be either special ed retarded or have a rather large set of cojones to be on this site of all places talking as much shit as he has been...a thread about car thieves...his name is brought up numerous times...yet he is still in here trying to shout louder and louder

glad to hear u got your rims back!

Watch the For Sale section. You'll see people come up with a lot of fairly random, high dollar parts sometimes. There were some guys up in NOVA/MD selling a lot of high end seats at cheap prices. That, combined with large reports of seats being stolen from S2000's. When you have a quantity (3-5 or more) of people who are out a specific type of part, and you see a person, or group of people, unloading similar parts at a very reduced rate, usually, that's a good place to start looking.

BTW, it will do wonders for the police, if some of you bitching about the stuff being stolen, would buy a $20 electric engraver, and put your name on the valuable parts on your car! INSIDE the valve cover, so the thief who steals your engine doesn't even know. Various other places, to identify the parts as yours. This way, if the police think it's stolen, you can prove it was yours by knowledge of the marks. This is done often with race engines in a race shop. They are marked as to who they belong to, such that if a competitor were to take it for use, it would be easily found during the tech process.
Simply, if you sell it, provide bill of sale indicating the motor is marked as such, such that the person who buys it will not have an issue with the police if the valve cover is removed. Same goes for headers/manifolds, turbo casings, wheels, pretty much anything of value. Mark it! You can sign your name on the inside lip of your wheels. They get stolen, you tell the police, the police start looking at similar sets for sale on VA, and can get to who stole them. Then, we can stop some of this! (It gives them hard evidence in court.)

Great Advice! Sometimes a victim will say that their parts are in another car, but there is little the police can do with that info unless you can prove that those are your parts. We believe you when you tell us this, but without probable cause we can just go under someone's hood to look around. Without proof that those parts belong to you, it will not stand up in court.

Great Advice that most thieves knew about anyways. These ignorant fucks on the other hand, probably not.

They had my wheels on the exact same wheel that was on my car. Still had my brothers handwriting on the inside of the tires from when he balanced and rotated them. Idiots. RF LF RR LR.

If they had your name engraved, the police could have charged them with petty larceny. If many of the remaining parts had been marked, they would have probable cause, and be able to check. Should they find a quantity of parts high enough, that belong to you, and/or to others, the state can make a case for grand larceny, jail time, etc. Beyond that, you can sue in Civil court for the cost of replacement when the criminal charges have processed! You can fuck up that thief's life forever!

Um, Si wheels are a felony?
They are like $400 a piece from Honda

$400 x 4 = $1600.

I don't know how much you have to have to make it a felony but I think thats enough.
