OKAY>>OKAY let me jump in here....

First change the attitude.......

Second, people will always have problems with your car(whether it be a Honda, Acura, Dodge, Whatever). Deal with it. One thing people will not have a problem with is....performance.

Third, 12.4 huh? Im not calling bs on the possibilty of the time. Just the Mods that you listed WILL NOT allow it.

Witha stage one, nobody has been able to effectively use a Boost Controller, as the new computer pulls timing with the BC, thus negating any performance gains.

Piggy back with fuel manage huh? WOW Ive only heard of one piggy back and it is a prototype as of right now from PSI-Fi motorsports.

And you only spent 600 bux?? Id like to see how you shaved a second and a half with 600 bux. You obviously arent running slicks in that 600 bux, and I know if you are running 12.4, you arent doing it on the michelins. What track did you hit it at?

The IC is made by VALEO, not Mitsubishi. The turbo is a TDO4.

BTW with the 69 bux you spent on the BOV conversion plate, you havent gained any performance. You shouldve gotten new motor mounts(shouldve been the first upgrade). Whether it be rex inserts or Deyeme racing MM, your car needs it with 12.4s.

WHOAH MISSED THAT ONE... 270hp..... thats gotta be some good shit.

stage one cars are not putting down 270hp.
Ratings are
240hp/260tq with stage one.
Do me a favor, get in your car, start it up and granny drive it back to the dealer and give them the keys. You are giving SRT4 owners a bad name. And me especially.....

Look at the title from the factory moron....it says "2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4". If you financed through Chrysler like I did it says "2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4" on your monthly statement/Bill..... Yes you bought a neon. Deal with it.

I've heard about the srt4's having boost problems. Their wastegate sucks and factory bov leaks. Could it be that the ecu is pulling timing because the intake temps are skyrocketing?

A Stock SRT-4 will run 12psi give or take. They do get as high as 14 or 15 psi, then trail off around 5k rpm back to 12psi. Some people are using a boost controller and a wastegate actuator to hold 15psi til redline. Waste of money I say.

The car goes lean if you start running over 16psi without the stage one.

But with the stage one You hold 15psi all the way to redline and get better a/f readings. The computer really does pull timing if you use a BC, its kind of neat to see that a computer can reconize this and make adjustments to keep the car safe. It is pointless to up the boost over the stage one, as we really need to upgrade the Sensors, which will be in the stage 2 upgrade.

The stock Surge Valve does not leak(at least not more than any of the other options out there), it is made to take on all three stages of Dodges upgrades. I have it, and do not have/have not had a problem with it.

cool... I was hoping it would just be bs. I actually hope that the car doesn't have many setbacks when upgrading. I'd like to see at least one company out there make a cheap turbo car that can handle some good power from the factory. I know it can be done.
