wheels are $650 exhange plus shipping plus bearings. i went out and bought zx10 wheels. same with the forks. bought zx10 forks and then chromed them. mirror plates are $50 then another $20 to chrome them. Dog bones...go buy them and then chrome them. as for "nastiest busa around"...I really didn't think I'd have to explain myself. Looks wise. Not performance wise. It's got a pipe and a pc3 for cying out loud. How would a pipe and pc3 make it the nastiest around??? WOW! And yes, I have every single stock part for the bike.
Why would you buy a part then chrome it?? Just buy it chrome. Next time you build a bike PLEASE let me know so I can sell ya some parts.

I feel the o.p., I get a good laugh when someone offers me a 2003 600 or 1000 for my car. Im asking a little over 9k, what makes idiots think I would trade for a bike worth maybe 4k?

save money that way. once i sell the busa, i can take every last single part and sell it. plus.. a new busa is $11,500. my bike has $11k in mods. That's $22,500. How is $12k too much for a 600 mile bike with that much invested? That's a $10k loss. lol

because your modifications don't add to the performance of the motorcycle. If somebody was asking 1k over because they added exhaust, woodcraft rearsets and clipon's, headers, pc3, a modded SET valve things like that then yeah. If they are asking more because they got chrome this, chrome that different forks, with chrome then yeah, you are going to get offered way less.

BTW your bike is not modded it is customized, "generally" modded refers to performance parts or changes your bike besides the pipe and pc3 which is not unique at all is all aesthetic customization.
