WE need to get a ride planned.. Lake gaston has a very nice mx track but its about 2 hrs.. slades is boring but its close and if anyone has land thats rideable post it up im down anytime..

we go riding across the street from a church right by the Lowes off of portsmouth blvd. The trails go way back and theres a bunch of different ways to go back there. we took a few different trails back by the lowes that go all the way down to shoulders hill rd. and some go way farther then that. there nice trails but sometimes going back there on the dirt bike after some 4wheelers go through there can be pretty rough. I rather ride back there then go to slades.

 

thats the same place i was just talkin about. pretty good place to go.

 

Yeah Ive been back there to . You can actually follow the railroad tracks all the way tothe airport off 58 in suffolk. There are some fun trails back there . although I have no idea whos land it is

 

any problems with cops back there???

i need to ride somewhere besides slades...

 

ive never had any problems with cops. some of the trails do get pretty close to some houses so we try to keep away from there so we dont piss anyone off with all the noise. The friend i ride with has been riding back there for almost 10 years and hasn't had any issues at all. Just be respectful. There are no "no trespassing" signs up back there either. Some of the trails go right through some soy bean fields so im sure he wouldnt be to happy if you went off the trail and messed those up.

 

I have permission to ride on the paths that go all the way around those farm fields ( not to reide in the fields) . But i have never seen a cop and there are a ton of trails and roads, I just dont know were to park and unload bikes and etc.

 

we normally park at the church across the street and unload(by the baseball field). then ride down the street a bit to the trail in front of the fields.

 

Well Me and some guys are headingto lake gston mx this weekend track should be fun two mx tracks and a woods course. Would like to get as many people as possible down for the ride . Planning on heading out there sunday morning as early as possible.
