I seriously don't understand why the tires don't fit the rim? Is that a fad thing or is there truly a benefit for having the edge of the rim stick out further than the tire? Otherwise, it looks like you've pieced together a clean looking Honda. I like the classics a lot.
Not slamming the kid.......just trying to understand why the tires fit the way they do.

edit: random find from google
German law states clearly that the tire running surface is not allowed to exceed the width of the car. There are no rules for the width of the rims as long as they do not hinder the functioning or safety of the vehicle.
This means that wider rims can be mounted with stretched tires as long as the tire running surface does not come out of the fender.

Get some oval piping!

They make down pipes with that for 240s...it'll save you at least a 1/2 of an inch.
The car looks sick btw. I saw it pull up at the Nissan meet and I was like, damn, wtf, someone with a civic who spent money on it properly.
looks fucking sweet!
nice pics to josh
there's something about it though, might sound weird, but I think it could go with a little less stretch. it might help out the gap between the wheels and the car since he can't really go lower. just a thought. it's still sweet as hell though
