I like the look but I dont understand why its "so cool" to make a sports car basically just a show car.

 

+1 you and me both... Cars are more fun when they can perform vs. making it look such that people ask you how it can move.

I understand fender pulling/rolling/etc to get wheels to fit...but sacrificing the look of the car to do it? Can the creases in the edge of the fender be fixed easily?

Wheels look good, but the combos not for me...Nice car though.

 

I see mass metal work and icing in this cars future... I hope to gods that this thing has some stiff ass springs... Either way, its the sex...

As far as the wheels looking funny, they don't in person at all. The car looks impossible to drive in person. This wasn't a very well thought out shoot, there will be a better one when the car and wheels have actually be cleaned, haha.
