well, i really don't know what a stock mr2 turbo will do? supposely they do hit high 150's stock. i'd like to top my car out on the dyno to see what it'll do after a couple more mods.

from my experience it was the owner that popped the gasket. i tuned it as best as the parts installed allowed, a master genius got another 30hp out of cam timing and i was done. wouldnt go above 18psi. on boost controller (wasnt my car or place to figure out why). owner came in next day, raised the boost without letting me know and popperoooooo.
on the dyno that motor just didnt sound right. but i wrang the shit out of it to something like 350rwhp.

This is what a Greddy T67 with proper camshaft alignment (degreeing the cams) and a free flowing intake manifold SHOULD do at 21 psi, and not pop a damn head gasket (belongs to a customer of mine):

This car is still terrorizing the local street racers in New Jersey. No head gasket problems. He got 28mpg on the drive back, too.
