awesome increase from the camshaft upgrade... but dont you think a custom grind that is ground for your setup would make even more power? i never understood the whole swapping parts thing with hondas. when youre pushing that much air through a motor i would think the camshaft choice would come before turbo selection. does comp/crane not do custom grinds for you guys or something?

Usually when you go with boost stock heads are good, just want to open up the exhaust side, but cams can be bad if they overlap too much. so the higher lift cams like the Type R are good. there was like a 1/4 inch difference when we mic'd em. Still waiting for my R intake cam. Bitch said he sent it off like 7 days ago. I will see. late

Well Jim you're right but keep in mind we mic'ed the ITR cams VS some 1st Gen Automatic B16A cams I had laying around in the garage. But the cams I was running were 2000 Si cams and still was a difference. About aftermarket cams, us Honda guys REALLY haven't had that great of success with aftermarket VTEC cams, they are not all they are cracked up to be, I know of some top pro racers that have swapped from custom ground/billet cams to some stock GSR cams actually. Kenny Tran running 8.59@170mph runs ITR or GSR cams. However Brian from Millenium Autosports with the yellow hatchback is running some rCrower Stage 2 turbo grind cams and he did say they were a big difference.
