Where do you get your money for the car lifestyle?
Money Management is the best way. If you are really dedicated and making ends meet with what you normally make now get a second job that is just for car money.

I really dont think you have much room to talk. Your the only maytag repair man that I know of, with a ugly car!
my parents bought my car, and pay for my insurance as long as i can put 100 dollars a month in the bank to save so i have money for college.
i work two jobs during summer, i pay for my gas, food(sometime parents give me some money if i'm eating alot), but i've payed for everything that's gone on my car, it's not anything impressive, but i've put about 3500-4000 into it in the last year

man i work at a restaurant at night and i work for labor ready every morning. i just bought the 3sgte longblock the je pistons and the ferrea valves retainers springs and eagle rods the fidanza flywheel and a set of hks cam pulleys that was my entire savings for a year i still have to get a water pump a v6 camry tranny custom axles the intercooler the turbo rebuilt and clipped a new clutch kit the boost controller the timer the bov the piping done for the front mount and custom linkage done doing all this while paying 236.00 a month in car payment and 160 a month insurance and 400.00 rent oh yeah and i have one of the most expensive habits you can have i have a girlfriend. talk about being broke i cant even afford a cell phone.....
do something on the side. i do car repairs and such for cheap. i charge $150 to install a clutch on most imports, and have done it quite a few times. i can do a d or b series honda clutch in about 3-4 hours and do it better than most mechanics. $150/3hours=$50/hour
* Building great credit
* making smart business decisions
* do NOT get married...the fun stops there
* Knowing your limitations (don't get over your head)
* making all your payments on time
* network to get the right connections of people in the know
* Don't jump into anything unless you've taken enough time to come to a rational decision
* Don't rely on anyone else with financials. Do it yourself. Much more rewarding.
