any GMU students?
[QUOTE=Guido]nope def not
Theta Chi[/QUOTE
I don't know any Theta Chi's with imports, who is this and what do you drive? Yeah we should def do a dragva @ GMU meet. That weekend is initiation for me, so I know myself and some of my boys won't make it.
Here's the deal with GMU motorsports. I beleive the club flopped because there was no real leadership within the club. Furthermore, as Guido will agree, guys want to be part of a club that's cool, when we did an open meet/drive and the guys who showed up were douchebags with hooked up yugo's, they scared away the cool guys with nice cars because there were so many of them.
I think already we have a good 10 quality guys that would be down on dragva. We should invite our friends that we know in at GMU and recruit from there. Tell me what you think.

yea maybe we should try reviving GMU motorsports club, I'll join. I don't do shit at school except shoot pool and study, why not join a car club and talk about cars since that's all I do now.
I'll def try and make it on the 21st at GMU. Hopefully I'll see some of you before that at the next First Friday Drag VA meet at FFX Town Center. Feel free to talk to any of us about GMU motorsports, many of us will be at the next meet.

Altima on 19s - David

Hopefully with some fresh blood and renewed interest in the club we can get things moving for next fall.

yea me and another theta chi drive m3's, both obd1 alpine, although i have had 4 diffirent cars since i have been at mason (pristine modded cosmos 95 m3, tsi awd sleeper 16g plus more, 91 240 hatch that i installed redtop sr20 and much more in myself and finaly my third obd1 m3, as far as cars that are welcome to the club im not gonna shut anyone down about what they drive but i will say that if the car is a piece of shit or a completely stock civic, gti whatever you should consider not joining, the club will thrive only if REAL auto enthusiasts join with tastefully modifed cars, only mature, educated people should be allowed, bc there are 10000000000000000000 car clubs in this area and tons of people at mason, It would be more interesting if the people in the club auctally wished to be there , and they didnt join bc its the cool thing to do, I have been goin on drives alot recently and have had a fucking great time , if the club auctally does things like drives and attend race events such as the hyperfest which was badass as hell as well as events such as the drift showoff,we will keep people coming out, meetups are not the way to get people to come out, and one person cannot run the club, a small group of 3-5 COMMITED people should plan out events, tell everyone about them in some sorta forum and then shit will be fine, thats all
