Well, we THINK it will look retro. I'm telling you, the way the General is fucking EVERYTHING up, it's gonna be some FWD 4.something V-8 pushing 280 rwhp, 250 ft/lbs torque that looks like a Beretta.

well, the last pic i posted, the dark reddish one, is rumored to be pretty close. that is, it was leaked from people that work at GM. if it looks like a big cavalier or some shit, i'm going on a killing spree.
it'll be weird not having a firebird to include in the f-body family. i can't imagine what a 5th gen firebird would look like. i'm just crossing my fingers. hopefully we'll get some concept pictures or any news soon.

Lettme guess. Better aerodynamics, flipper headlights, and a lifted wing
Hard to imagine improving on the looks of the 4th Gen B WS6s
1) i doubt those numbers are right. the SS is the big dog, it'll be the more powerful one. and most likely it'll be the same motor in the Z28 and SS with the SS having some mods for higher hp just like the 4th gens. where did you read that, maybe share some links to your info?
that information came from the most recent issue of popular hot rodding. There was a sketch by Chris Pauwels. "PHR commisioned computer artist and animator Kris Horton to smooth out Pauwel's drawing. Horton added color, put realistic wheels and tires on and modeled it in diffuse natural light" (Popular Hot Rodding, September 2004 pg. 33). Also, Lutz claims the firebird is gone. They never seem to comment on the Camaro though. Read this article. Its the one I referenced earlier: http://www.popularhotrodding.com/fea...409phr_camaro/
Apparently, part of the reason GM decided to bring back the Camaro was because of the overwhelming positive feedback the next gen Mustang has gotten so I'd bet, more than anything, that the next gen Camaro will have all those gay styling cues, as will the GTO probably. GM tends to follow other trends rather than setting them.
