I have been around here a little while longer than the previous 2 that just joined. I have seen Jesse's time slip and can vouch for his car. Also saw a timeslip from VMP (Dinwiddie) where it went a 9.0 in the 1/8th. BTW, I wouldn't consider him my Homeboy, just a common friend with an interest in racing. Why the hell does it matter so much to you that you feel the need to raise the BS flag. If you care so much, why don't you build something yourself, call him out, and wax his ass rather than talk shit on a damn forum.

Also, I wonder why you need to crack on someone for a performance mod that they decide to do. Who cares if it makes the car any faster. He wanted it, it is his money.

I didn't follwo everything, so maybe I'm way off, but noone would have thrown a BS flag if he had claimed a 9.0 1/8th...he was claiming an 8.2 1/8th....I ran an 8.2 1/8th in my Poopra, and I would destroy a Neon.

 

Everyone is claiming times i cant do lol. Why dont everyone who can make it to NB this weekend run to find out the truth. Its all in fun thats all that matters.

 

thats cool...i was merely stating the fact i didnt see it, and it is a slightly unbelievable comment without me seeing it myself. as i stated prior... if he did.

thats cool. that is what friends are for. however,......most every time there is a something like this around here......you have at least one or two "friends" that immediately join. it just raises curiosity of some as to why people will immediately join and go straight for one thread or such. i have seen it alot here....

again....when someone makes a statement that i think is bogus...i would like to have it backed up. just because i have never seen something does not mean it hasnt been done....i am not an ass like that. i wanted to see the slips so i can see what kind of times he hits. if there is something i havent seen before, i want to know about it. knowledge is power.


and again...i stated before and will state again.....if someone wants to do something....thats their deal. however, i am one for having informed decisions. and it sounds like he is doing what he wants. did i say anything was wrong with that? no. i merely stated a fact i knew about ignition systems, and that money could be spent elsewhere. but, its not my car....


i stated something about running a 9.2 bone stock...i had never seen one, and wanted to see a slip. however, Steve vouches for him. but, i would like to know the times at least.....i want to see how traction is doing for him.

 

Hmmm thats a pretty general statement.. Although 8.2 is quite good, especially for a Supra in the 1/8th..
