ok yall this corrado was owned by my best friend out here in gloucester va it was originally a stock g60 with a supercharger but the supercharger blew up and an atp t3/t4 turbo was installed then the tranny came apart and me and my friend put a rebuilt stock tranny in it for him, then it began to have start up problems and my friend wanted out of vw's so he sold it for an acura and truthfully the car will not run a high 14 or even a low 15, its quick from a drop but it got beat consistently by a stock civic coupe with a b16 which runs about a 16 flat so the car is pretty much a slug so i hope this puts a rest to all the rumors....

 

Thats cool. I was ust wondering what it had because it sounded nice and looked good. I like VW's and have one myself.

 

hahaha, the car is far from a slug man... when I got it in its current state, the ECU would hold water during rainstorms.... yes thats right, it was shorting itself out anytime it was wet, whoever installed the ATP chip forgot the left screw to hold the ECU together on the plug side... water would pour right into the hole, this ruined the fuel maps and killed the cold start sequence, making the car run like butt....

Note the throttle body gasket which has its tab ripped off for no apparent reason, creating a HUGE vacum, boost leak.... could that have been a culprit too? hhhhmmmmm

The vacum/boost problem, coupled with the bad ecu, and digi-lags already persistant problems with the wildly fluctuating vacum and boost signals only making it worse made the car run like poop.
TONS of stuff has been done since I got this and it runs about 500% better. Needless to say, the car is no slug

 

oh yea, and WHY THE HELL DID YOUR FRIEND PAINT EVERY PLASTIC INTERIOR PIECE YELLOW?!
Im still pissed about having to source an almost entirely new interior.... oh well, i guess to each his own
