Hey man, I'm just curious, what all do you have done to that engine to max out those stock coil packs ? Most people use those things right up to 500+ HP with no problems.

No one i know or have heard of runs stock coilpacks at that hp w/o some kinda trick or ignition inhancement. They're just not made to be seeing high hp on a regular basis. Which is why some ppl close the gap on the plugs so that the coilpacks don't have to work as hard...or just upgrade to a more powerful ignition system.

what options are there though, other than the Splitfire coilpack wires ? I don't think there are any. I'm only running 250hp, so I have no problems, I've just been told (all verbal, no proof) that the stock coils were that strong. I mean, I know it's an extremely efficient ignition design though.
