Now with that being said, why do you still believe in 290+RWHP?
Even if that car was a 5 speed, it STILL wouldnt be over 280.
If your STILL thinking they will make over 290 RWHP, wait and see. But Im willing to put $20 on it right now if your up for it.

Lets just pretend the new '05 GTs are ACTUALLY making 330bhp because these engine are obviously underrated.
330 - 20% driveline loss for an automatic trans = 264bhp.
330 - 15% driveline loss for an manual trans = 280.5bhp.
These figures I got from taking the 267 whp that Nick mentioned and extrapolating the resulting numbers. So we can come to a conclusion on the 280.5bhp of that of a car equipped with a manual. A lot closer to the 290bhp I mentioned a while back compared to the 250 something you said. Maybe not 290bhp, but pretty fucking close.

I think we are argueing completely different things here. But if you do believe the general amount of 05 GT's will dyno at over 290 RWHP, take me up on my bet. Its just $20

You make a valid point, but that still doesnt show why you believe they are making 290 RWHP.

Either you've changed your point of view from yours to mine, or you are VERY contradictory.

From Boddah80 on the corral-
I own an 03 Mach 1 5-speed that put down 285rwhp and 312ftlbs of torque bone stock. And for what i have been seeing on Mach1registry.com alot of the newer Mach 1's are putting down around the same amount of power. As far as which one is faster that will be decided at the track. As far as looks I personally am not fond of new looks of the 05 mustang but i will save final judgement until i see and drive one myself.

[QUOTE=Soon2BeStangin]Ok, this is becoming ignorant.
I have showed you a Mustang Dynograph, Fatnick has even chimed in and proven my point even further. The new mustangs are underrated, but not as much as you make them out to be.[quote] That is as good as me showing you my dyno run of my hp in 3rd gear. It's gonna be off. Just like the mustang dyno. It's a waste of time to even use it to base any arguement or factual data.
I would go off a well known magazine that hires shops that use a dynojet to dyno a car and get accurate figures. Not a dyno that is well known for being innacurate.

So you would rather put your faith in what a magazine clearly makes out to be a rumor than a dyno graph that I just posted?

Mustang Dyno's measure the horsepower a different way from dynojets. Try reading up on them and then talk some more.
But as far as this thread is concerned, let me make sure I have this all right.
I said an 05 GT will put down 250+rwhp
XCELR8 said more like 290rwhp
That was all there was too this arguement. Why are you guys bringing in Mach 1's? They are different cars all together. Just because they both ran a 13.6 doesnt mean shit. Temperature, track conditions, humidity, wind, tires, drivers, the list goes on and no. You cant even compare the horsepower between two cars because of two similar track times.
Oh yea, and XCEL, my bet still stands that the general amount of 05 GT's will not product 290RWHP on a Dynojet. Yes, I will seriously put down $20 if you do. Just let me know
