First things first: what exactly are you expecting out of your suspension?

Better handling performance?
Lowered stance?
Comfortable ride?

When it comes to suspension, you're usually going to be tossing one of those out the window unless you're willing to shell out a fair amount of time and money for a very adjustable suspension setup and the time to set it up to your liking.

sorry if i might b mistaken, but i don't see road and track comparing a mustang's cornering to a bmw's. u can build it. but how r u gonna have a drag suspension(or stock) and just b able to "take the skinny's off and put the 18's on" and expect to take turns?

Disclaimer: my previous reply wasn't meant to offend, just pointing out a drag mustang can't take a lowered honda in a turn. I hate both companies neway, that's y i got a bike and a bmw

as for the "genius" a inline six(NA) toyota engine is capable of at least 300 rwhp with a stickshift tranny check www.sogi.com (unless two cylinders aren't working)

yeah...cause BMW is a luxury sports car...diff class than the "sports car" or whatever you want to class it...just like the STI and the Evo are always compared to eachother...they are in thier own class...granted they may handle alot better/worst than cars in other classes...

you're not going to do that with any car really...a car set-up for drag racing, wont do great in the turns...and vice versa. take a car off the roadcoarse, and put them on the drag strip...i guarantee they will pull some shitty times...

btw...why the hell would someone put 18's on thier car to turn???

Hum, maybe its entry level, but the IS300 is probably the only Lexus I'd own. Of course I guess I fit right into its target audience. It's just so damn heavy though. Even with 300rwhp, it'd be turning in 13s at best. Definitely focus on making it handle.
