where was this person driving on your street . imean what area. if anyone steals my car if they get past my freakin 007 security system they will have to start it and that itself will wake up the whole fucking neighborhood I HAVE NO EXHAUST. oh and i have cameras around my house so HA

Someone tried to steal the WRX early one morning. They didn't succeed though. I was watching both of my cousin's dogs (A Collie and a pure-bred Jack Russell) in addition to having my own dog (Australian Dingo). The Dingo rarely barks. The Collie yelps maybe from time to time, that is it. Well it was around 4:30, I was asleep, and all of a sudden ALL THREE dogs go off. The Dingo is barking like it wants to kill something, the Collie is barking ferociously, and the Jack Russell is clawing at the front door showing its teeth like it wants to take a bite out of something. So I run upstairs with a gun, throw open the door, let the dogs run out there....but by then they are gone. I think I may have saw a car drive away out of my development (there is only one entrance/exit).

It doesn't surprise me though. Hondas get stolen from the complexes around mine all the time. They get boosted out of the rest of Columbia as well like crazy. It's only a matter of time before WRXs and STis get stolen like crazy (as is the current case in NJ).

 

Don't you think it's not smart to unleash a pack of attacking dogs outside? I mean granted it could have been a thief stealing a car, but what if it was someone innocent or someone wearing a mailman looking outfit or something? That' person would have gotten torn up and you could have gotten yourself sued

My mailbox is actually nowhere near my house, so mailman is out of the question. The dogs only bark if someone steps on my driveway, which is really small, so at the very least the person is trespassing. Also I don't live on a public street, I live on a private street. There are signs posted at the entrance to my development that say Soliciters will be prosecuted. My neighbors call the cops the minute they catch anybody going door to door.

Also its 4:30 in the morning like I said previously. If it was 5:30 or later I would agree with you on the "It could be an innocent person" stance, but it wasn't.

 

They were probably just rippin bowls.

I donno about all this shiet but im getting my alarm n parking my car behind my pplz car, I think anybody who steals somebodys ride that the put time and effort in deserves to GEt a BetDown they wont ever wanna remember i mean go steal a benz or something but not something i put time and effort in and wont get shit back.. just my thought fuk with my car n you fuk with your life

 

This is one nice part of having a car thats very different, my car is not a huge target for being stolen. I live with my parents in a very nice neighborhood but I have some suspicious. I keep my car covered, and the cover is put on in a very methodical manner so I can tell if anyone messes with it at all. I came home from Thanksgiving break and the cover was pulled off. Nothing was messed with fortunately, I don't think, but the battery was too dead to start the car. Still got me wondering what happened, I've been watching carefully since.
