Nope, its always like it over here. We get bent over and shafted big time. Its currently Spring over here, not summer really for another couple of months.
Our government takes roughly 71p of tax from every 75p of fuel sold.
Think we are 2nd highest fuel payers in Europe, and nothing we can do about it.
Thats why all our engines are 1.0 - 3.0, and yours are all like 4.0+ litre engines, you can afford to run them.
God the UK sucks, dont ever come here.

What's sad is my wrangler gets better gas mileage then the damn liberty. I had pops follow me the other day as I filled up both jeeps. I spent about $75-80. I really need to hurry up and get this damn bike.
I haven't filled up my TA in about a month, but when gas was ~$210 for premium I was dropping around $28. Mixed driving (mostly city) I got around 220 to a full tank. If I made a few highway trips I'd get around 280. All highway is usually 300+

dude, I feel your pain. Italy sucks just as bad. But I think we are a little cheaper. Its 1.05 E for a liter.
