horsepower wars
spic im not tryin to get into a pissin contest over imports vs domestics.
l must not be goin by last year's experience with a Chevy Truck. damn 3500HD dually broke down almost every other day.
Hmm i was on site one day and i parked right out in some dirt, and it started to rain,
well 5 hours later and constant raining, i went out to the truck to move it, and started
her up and put into gear, and started to move, and WHammo, rear end blew the fuck
up, mind u this was a 2004 3500HD dually, with 120k miles, but still it should not have
blown up jus cuz i tried to drive out of a mud pit.

Comfortable? doubt it, my 240 is pretty damn comfortable, Kirkey Intermediate seat w/cover is pretty damn comfortable to me.
every domestic i have sat in was too short on head room, seats dont adjust right for me.

ive purchased and torn down a s13 as a hopeful drag project and it was not comfortable, the interior was not nice at all, shifter was in a strange location. theyre good cars, but please dont even try to compare a 4th generation f-body to your 240sx when it comes to straight line performance. mod for mod an s13 might take a 4g f-body in a tight autocross, but there would be no ass whipping like if you lined the two up on the strip.
ps the factory seats that came in my Z adjust more ways than 240sx seats do.

The spider gears break in the rearend because it's too small to handle the power.
and yea you are on the right track and im sure you meant to say it, but it is the ring gear teeth that usually fail on GM 7.5" rears due to the gear's small diameter. a properly set up 7.5" will survive some abuse though. my rear is a zexel posi / strange 4.10 with a girdle and ive got no slippage, no metal in the fluid, nothin. ive been through one "rear" and it was a problem the car was having when purchased. the spiders were slipping because they were pretty worn down (130,000 miles) so i stuck another rear in and have beaten on it several times with no breakage.

edit: you should try S14 seats in your S13. Much better.

SS Interior:

STI Interior:

03 Cobra Interior:

The STI is supposed to be a rally car out of the box, and, as expected, has the best interior. Next comes the 03 Cobra. The EVO and the SS are a toss up. truck interior... lol
And a camaro isnt some auto-cross wonder. But it does hold its own. An 01 SLP SS (very common package) pulls .91 Gs on a skidpad, has 335bhp along with a 0-60 time of 5.2. those skidpad numbers beat out a 350Z and are the same as an RX8. This is all coming from a solid rear axle car that is severely overpowered.
I prefer Recaros

For the record, there are several iterations of the mustang and camaro I do like. But don't tell me that either is the result of R&D not found on several capable imports.
This is on the verge of a performance/$ debate.
