I think you'll be very surprised. You're underestimating--I, however, am not. I hope you get a good tune on your car so it can see its full potential. That's one thing most people don't seem to bother with. Glad you are.
BTW, I went looking at Z06's today. I've been thinking long and hard about it lately...

Very true! Most ppl do not tune their cars or even use the proper equipment to control Fuel management and ignition timing!
Slapping a turbo on a car and not tuning is just plain dumb, and more than likely you will end up with a blown motor!
Trust me just because it is turbo does not mean it is fast. There are plenty of kids out here and down in Florida when I was there that set that example. Everyone had turbo but only few where fast! I have owned quite a few B20/Vtec turbo Hondas out here that were only running 13's. IMO that is pathetic.
So just b/c a car is turbo(Honda or not) doesnt mean it is fast.

I've actually been considering getting rid of the GTI... Might sell the car or trade it in for a Z06; Then sell the turbo sitting on my desk for a supercharger of some sort. I think I would be pretty happy with that and call it a day.
I wanted to go N/A with it, but lately I have had the urge to consider a supercharger for it.
